Quality Maintenance is what started our company. Most HVAC companies offer initial maintenance contracts in order to get your business and then attempt to perform your maintenance as quickly as possible. They may replace air filters and believe they have finished. 9 times out of 10 the technicians that go up on your roof do not perform the necessary maintenance required for your equipment. Every year we prove this by performing 3rd party audits the day after they have performed their service.

At Philco Air Control, we have grown tired of companies providing substandard maintenance and their attempt to sell new equipment by allowing older units to break down. Here at Philco Air Control, our whole company was formed and operates around quality maintenance. We actually get our hands dirty. We disassemble and clean burner chambers, check belt tension, pulleys, static pressure, combustion tests, refrigerant tests, install new valves and refrigerant caps to prevent leaks. We perform chemical cleaning and wash components with water. If there is no water on the roof, we may offer to install a water line instead of using hand pumps and cheap coil cleaning spray bottles. We also measure power before service and after to ensure we made an impact after our coil cleaning. We will document any motor that is showing bearing wear, properly grease bearings with the correct volume and grease type based on the Manufacture’s recommendations.

There is no guess work. If we come up to an unfamiliar piece of equipment and we are not sure what type and frequency of maintenance it needs, we will not guess and move on to the next. We contact the manufacturer and make sure we are maintaining your equipment per their standards.
